Phishing Scam - "Access to your Visa Card Has Been Blocked"

The email message below with subject: "Access to your Visa card has been blocked" or "Your card has been blocked," is a phishing scam. The email message was not sent by Visa and was created by cyber-criminals to trick the recipients into clicking on a link within it, which will take them to a fake Visa website. On the fake website, looking exactly like Visa's website, the recipients will be asked to enter their credit card, personal and other account information.

If the recipients submit their information on the fake website, it will be sent to the scammers behind this email scam, who will use it to gain access to your Visa or bank online account, steal your credit card information, and may also use the information to steal your identity.

We are contacting you to Inform you that our Visa Card security department identified some unusual activity in your card.in accordance with Visa Card User Agreement and to ensure that your Visa Card has not been accessed from fraudulent locations, access to your Visa Card has been limited. Your Visa Card access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved please Click My Visa Card Activity to continue.
