There are hundreds of websites claiming that they are giving away free or cheap Netflix accounts, but they are all fakes and will not provide you with free Netflix accounts. These websites will attempt to trick persons into completing surveys, downloading files, submitting their personal information or following some deceptive instructions. The cyber-criminals behind the websites will make money when persons complete the surveys and download files.

The downloaded files may contain malicious software that will infect the victims' computers, which they (cyber-criminals) can you use to hijack the same computers.

Also, the scammers will attempt to spread their scams or fake websites to other persons, by claiming that the victims must share or like their websites with their Facebook friends before they receive their free Netflix accounts.

If you are asked to do any of the above-mentioned or taken to a website which claims it is a Netflix account generator, some cyber-criminals are attempting to scam you.

Netflix is an American content provider which allows the streaming of movies, TV-shows and other media content over the internet. This allows their users to watch movies, TV-shows and other media content on any device (computers, smart phones, tablets) connected to the internet.

Now, fraudulently getting a Netflix account is an offense, which you may serve jail time for. So, instead of doing something illegal, go to Netflix’s website at: www.netflix.com and sign-up for their free one month trial subscription. If you decide to continue after the one month trial, you will pay $7.99 per month after.

Do not run the risk of wasting your time making the scammers behind the fake websites rich and getting your computer infected with a virus, Trojan or other malware.
