If you have seen iPhone 7 survey announcements while browsing the internet, asking you to complete surveys in order to receive an Apple iPhone 7, please ignore them. The announcements are survey scams created by cyber-criminals to trick their potential victims into completing surveys. What the cyber-criminals behind the scam have done, is to create pop-up messages, advertisements and social media posts, in an attempt to trick their potential victims into completing surveys, by claiming that they were randomly selected to receive/test a brand new iPhone 7, due to be released in 2016. The scam also claims that Apple is looking for additional users to test the IPhone 7, and attempts to trick the potentials victims into acting fast, by claiming there are limited spots available.

Most of the iPhone 7 scams that we have seen so far, take potential victims to the following fake iPhone 7 or Apple website: “www.iphone.com-rewards.xyz,” "www.best-iphone6s.com" or www.free-iphone6s.com, where they will be asked fill out surveys.

The information collected by the survey may be sent to spammers, or scammers, who may use the information to attempt to rip their potential victims off. And, the cyber-criminals behind the iPhone 7 scam, may receive payment for each completed survey. Therefore, they will make millions if people continue to complete the surveys, thinking they will receive an Apple iPhone 7.
