The email message below with the subject: "You Have A Virus on Your Computer," which claims that the recipients’ computers is infected with a virus, is a scam. The fake email message was sent by cybercriminals/scammers to trick potential victims into calling the telephone number: 8883836325. Once potential victims call the telephone number, a person or automated system will request their personal information, financial information and online account credentials (usernames and passwords). If requested information is entered, it will be sent to cybercriminals, who will use it to rip-off their victims. Therefore, recipients of the same email message are asked to delete it and not to follow the instructions in it.
