Facebook users are advised to delete or remove posts offering them a chance to receive a free new iPhone 7 smartphone, if they share or comment on the same posts. The fake posts are being used to collect personal information and trick Facebook users into visiting websites that offer them a so-called chance to win an iPhone 7 in return for their mobile phone numbers. But, Facebook users will never receive the iPhone 7 they were promised, and by providing their mobile numbers and personal information, they are actually subscribing to expensive SMS or text message services that will charge several dollars to their accounts every time they receive SMS messages from the service providers they tricked into signing up with.

Also, by participating Facebook users are giving consent to their personal information to be shared with online marketing companies, which most are primarily spammers, who will start sending tons of unwanted email messages, text messages, emails, or make continous calls to Facebook users who were tricked into subscribing for the services, which they though was free, and they would stand a chance of receiving a free new iPhone 7 smartphone.
