The email messages below: "Windows Live Email account has exceeded storage limit" are fakes. These email messages were not sent by Microsoft and are phishing scams designed to steal your Microsoft Hotmail, Live or Outlook user name and password.

Never click on the links in these email messages. Clicking on any of the links in these email messages will take you to a fake Microsoft Hotmail, Live or Outlook, and ask you to sign-in with your user name and password.

If you enter your user name and password on these fake websites, it will be sent to the cybercriminals behind these phishing scams.

If you were tricked into entering your user name and password on one of the fake websites, please change your password immediately.

Also, Microsoft will never ask you for your personal information, will never call you, send your antivirus messages, or ask to connect to your machine remotely.
