Phishing Email Scam - JP Morgan Chase Daily Report

The email message below with the subject: "Daily Report," which appeared as if it came from JP Morgan Chase, is a fake. The email was not sent by JP Morgan Chase, but by cyber-criminals who designed it to trick the recipients into entering their user names and passwords on a fake and phishing JP Morgan Chase website.

The Phishing JP Morgan Chase Email

If you click on the "Click to Read Message" button, you will be taken to one of the phishing websites:

  • 192.241.124 .71/securemail/ safeformpost.aspx.php
  • safeformpost.aspx.php

The phishing websites look exactly like the JP Morgan Chase' s website and will ask you to enter your user name and password in order to sign-in. If you enter the requested information, it will be sent to the cyber-criminals behind the phishing scam.

Also, you maybe taken to other malicious websites and ask to download malware and unwanted programs.

If you have already entered your JP Morgan Chase' s user name and password on the bogus or phishing website, please change your password immediately.
