Facebook users are asked not to post, share, like or comment on messages similar to the ones below, which claim that there is a new hack on Facebook that allows a hacker to post hurtful or offensive comments on their Facebook Wall or Timeline that their friends can see and they can’t. There is no such Facebook hack. The messages, now called the "New Hack on Facebook," are pranks or hoaxes created by sociopaths or psychopaths only to frighten Facebook users into spamming their friends by sharing the fake messages with them.

The "New Hack on Facebook" pranks started a few years ago, and every year the pranksters slightly modify the message and start the process all over again. Have you ever wonder why no security software company, or even Facebook, has come forward to warn Facebook users about such so-called hack. Well, this is because such hack doesn’t exist. This is why it is important that Facebook users and others verify news sources before posting, sharing, liking, or commenting on certain messages.
