Beware of "National Australia Bank Limited Servers Upgrade" Phishing Scam

The email message below, which claims that the National Australia Bank Limited servers have been recently upgraded and the recipients need to verify their online accounts before the final upgrade process, is a phishing scam. The fake email message was not sent by the National Australia Bank Limited, but by cyber-criminals. Therefore, the instructions in the fake message should not be followed and the links in it should never be clicked. The links will take potential victims to a fake National Australia Bank Limited website designed to trick them into stealing their National Australia Bank Limited's usernames and passwords, and other personal information. It is not recommended for online users to click on a link in an email message to sign into online accounts. They should instead go directly to their online account providers' websites and sign into their accounts from there. This is the best method of preventing phishing scams.

You will still be able to use your Account but not online.

Customers without Online Account have nothing to worry about, Only Customers/Clients with Online Account(s) are required to VERIFY their Online Account.

If there is a problem with their accounts, they will be notified after signing or logging in. National Australia Bank Limited customers who were tricked into clicking the link in the fake email message and who have entered their National Australia Bank Limited usernames and passwords on the bogus website that they were taken to, should change their National Australia Bank Limited passwords immediately. And, if they are unable to change their passwords, they should contact National Australia Bank Limited immediately.
