I ordered a Men's Large shirt Feb 2018 and what I received was a shirt that would maybe fit a child. No info on how I can get a refund, $30 down the drain. Shame on Yahoo for allowing this scam on their email website ads!

I ordered a coat that looked great on the pictures but when it arrived, it was poorly made with loose buttons and low quality materials. I also paid expedited shipping and it took 2 weeks to arrive. I could not figure out how to return it on their site (and they refuse to communicate any other way except through their site). I've filed a complaint through PayPal asking they email me a return label. No response.

    Avoid this site!

I ordered a nice looking coat and I got it two months later.
I'm a 2X and it was so small, so I gave it to my mom, who is very skinny. It was even a little too small for her. I don't recommend this site. It's a shame, too. I really like the look of the clothes there.

    Received via email:

    "Hello,

I cannot find out where to register. I have a complaint about GAMISS & would like to leave it on line for people to see:

I loved alot of the items on their site. I made an order.

They then created two separate invoices. One with one of the items - which was an after thought item. I really only wanted a purse, but liked other items on their site.

Then they sent me one of the items I added on, billed me for it (something I would never have purchased alone - a pair of boots), and then provided yet another invoice for the six items I did order - with payment for the boots again. They already took payment for the boots - including ridiculously expensive S & H - which was fine when ordering six items, but cost prohibitive when ordering one!

They give you the run around when you try to give them their own invoice numbers.

I will repost if I get a satisfactory answer to this issue. I work with China and go there often for OEM products. This is truly the worst experience I have had with a Chinese factory.

    Wrong items, poorly shipped.

If you are expecting nicely packed items, like you would from any other online marketplace, you will be disappointed just like I was. Items arrived tightly folded into the tiniest FedEx shipping bags possible. What's worse, wrong items are shipped, with little recourse.

The entire shipment I have just received (a plastic bag stuffed to the point of bursting) contains items I have not ordered, not a single one of them is right. I have ordered shoes, but the bag only had what appears to be sweaters, so I sent a picture of the open bag to the support. It's obvious from the photo that items in the bag are not shoes, but that is not enough for GAMISS to process a return.

They are insisting that I inventory one by one all the wrong items that I have received, by writing down the SKUs from each item's plastic wrap, because there is no packing list included. There appear to be 20 items in there!

Basically, I am expected to do their work for them, even though it is apparent from the picture that I received a bunch of clothes, when I should have been getting shoes.

Very very very disappointing, will definitely not even dream of shopping on this side ever again. With prices this low, what did I expect?

For a whole month (longer, actually) I have corresponded with Gamiss Staff using their Support portal. At first, they didn't even acknowledge that the package I received contained someone else's purchase, and tried to treat my return as a regular return, as if I got the items I ordered, but didn't like them.

They made me inventory the entire contents (20 items) by SKU! Yes, they asked me to type up the super-long item SKUs from the labels. Eventually they agreed that clear photos of the labels will suffice, so I spent an hour doing that and sending them the PDF with the label scans. After that, there was a lot of silence.

I reminded them, and asked for a return label and a refund, again, and again, and again.

They failed to provide a return shipping label for 4 weeks. At last they wrote that they will issue a partial refund to me of $20 and the rest upon receipt of the returned package. They included a shipping label.

I am still waiting for that partial refund, the package sitting here, ready to go. I haven't shipped it back yet because that's my only leverage to try and get any money back; and proof of receiving wrong items, should my credit card company want to see them.

They did reach out to me, asking me to cancel my credit card investigation BEFORE they issue that refund. Right.

    The answer is NO.

Say first I thought the advertisement was part of your article and you wanted to alert people of what to be looking for. With all of the complaints related to this company, I'm really sorry that I found your article with numerous and terrible complaints. But in for a penny in for a pound.I actually found your article looking for their customer service number so I could file a complaint and return everything I ordered like I said in for a penny in for a pound I pray that things have changed; thank you for what you do, it's a great service

The items I have received from them are not at all like they were pictured. I was supposed to get a "faux" leather jacket, instead got a cheap plastic. My items arrived one week and one day after they were supposed to. They were not even in a box. They were wrapped in a plastic shipping and all taped up. Not the overpriced shipping I paid for. The other coat I bought was tight and way too small, not an XL. The hat was all smooshed because of their horrible packaging job.

Gamiss is located in Shanghai. I know this because that's where my package came from. Supposedly the item was sent to Fedex on December 11th. But didn't arrive at the Fedex drop in CalI until December 22nd, and won't make it to Massachusetts till January 4th. Then I'll be able to tell you if it's crap or if it fits, but talk about a slow boat to China.

Saw advertisement for Gamiss, I needed a retro Christmas dress for a party.

Saw a dress advertised and it looked cute, the price was so cheap....beware you get what you pay for! I went on their website to order and the website shut down and said the order did NOT go through. I went back on and ordered again. It went through. I then got an email saying thank you for your order twice! I immediately called PayPal and told them what happened, they cancelled my payment. I tried to contact Gamiss and their number was invalid.

I tried to contact them thru a "chat" and couldn’t get signed in as an existing or first-time customer! A few days later I got an email from them saying there was a message from Garmiss and I couldn’t sign in to see it! I desperately tried! Next day I decided to go to their website again and try to establish a new password etc and it said I was already established did I forget my password? I got so frustrated I gave up. Next day I tried again and somehow got in.

The message was to let me know I ordered the item twice! No kidding! I answered them back and said I had contacted PayPal and cancelled one payment. A couple of weeks later I got one dress and it was such bad quality I never would wear it! I contacted (thru the email) Gamiss and told them I did not want the dress and if I received the other dress I wanted to return them but didn’t think I should have to pay for shipping for both dresses!

They said to contact them after I received the other dress. 2 days later got the other dress and I let Gamiss know. They then told me they would let me know how they would refund me and that I could keep the dresses and donate them if I want. A week later I never heard from them so I contacted PayPal. They opened a case. I just got a message from PayPal...Gamiss will only refund 6.50. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for! Worst quality I have ever seen in online clothing! I didn’t read reviews before I purchased, Wish I had I would not have ordered from Gamiss.

They have perfected the art of scamming and they will continue to do so because they still got $ 17.00 from me for 2 dresses that cost them 6.50! BEWARE of this place!

Their U.S. phone number doesn't work - disconnects instantly.

    Their LIVE CHAT doesn't work.

I'm hoping to receive my products and hope not to be terribly disappointed in the quality...but not optimistic.

The Shop says "The top 5 customers to write a review and get double G points." and for that, there are very very few reviews.
If you don´t find any reviews, it´s because there is nothing good to say about it. All reviews admitting this get deleted.

I normally take a medium to large size outer jacket but because XL was highlighted in there ad, I thought they were out of small sizes, so I ordered the XL and figured with a sweather underneath it would probably work. Not a chance, when it arrived bearing an XL tag I could not even get the edges to meet over my chest let alone zip it up.

I was drawn to it because it was only $30 and did not expect too much. However by the time the shipping costs were added on it was close to $80. It took at least a month to arrive and it was just rolled up inside a FedEx Plastic bag. To add insult to injury, I received a bill from FedEx today, they want another $18 for shipping charges.

    Never again.

Your are right. This sight is a complete scam. I ordered a jacket and they sent me the wrong size and wrong jacket. After filing a compliant, they tried to tell me they sent me the correct item. It's B.S. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN ! Should have read the online reviews first.

I was trying to buy a hoodie but when it came to putting my info in, it wouldn't allow me to put a state and kept saying I needed to put my phone number, but my number was there. The big problem came when I went to contact someone to try and correct the situation. Every time I clicked on their 'contact us' it sent me to a completely blank page. That's when I knew something really hinky was up. So I started researching and found this site.

Just bunch of crooked people trying to make money out of unsuspecting users like me. Do your self a favor: do not buy from this company or you might as well throw your money down the drain!

My daughter asked if she could put an order into gamiss.com without looking into it I said YES, she has ordered over £187.00 worth of items but unfortunately this was over 3 months ago. I really wish I had checked them out beforehand, she paid via my PayPal which I have disputed the transaction with them, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE HORRID PEOPLE. I would also like to know why Facebook allows them to advertise,

There is a lesson to be learnt, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

IF ANYBODY FROM GAMISS IS READING THIS YOU SHOULD BE TOTALLY ASHAMED WITH YOURSELVES, IF YOU HAD DONE BUSINESS CORRECTLY YOU PROBABLY COULD HAVE HAD A DECENT BUSINESS, BUT YOU HAVE DECIDED TO RIP PEOPLE OFF. SHAME ON YOU.

I too went searching for the location of Gamiss-dot-com to no avail. When I done a whois search on the phone number included on the site it came up as in Bahrain, which is a small island on the north eastern coast of SaudI Arabia, the number is listed by them for their north American Offices. Keep away from this site is my advice. Old saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is".

This is unbelievable. I am so glad I saw this before I got taken for the 200$. I was about to throw away. I'm sorry to everyone out there who is being affected by this scam. My prayers and best wishes to you all. As for these a*holes...

    Karma, Karma, Karma....

What goes around comes around. They'll get caught and forced to shut down eventually. Unfortunately, some other crook will come along, with the same scheme with a different cover, ripping another group of innocent people off the first open opportunity they get. Watch your pockets people. There is always some dirty person trying to steal what good people have to work for and earn.

I wish I had found this site before I ordered from Gamiss. They sent me a tracking number 11 days ago with an expected delivery date of about 8-15 days...emphasizing that this was only an estimate.

I found that it's impossible to track the shipment with the information and links they provide. When I clicked on "contact" about the shipment, it says to fill out a (non-existent) form.

Something is very wrong with the way this company does business. Thankfully I didn't spend a lot of money and didn't give them a credit card (I used PayPal). I fully expect that the items I ordered will never be delivered.

If necessary I will file a complaint with PayPal, and if I lose my money I will file a complaint with the FTC....something everyone should do when they get scammed out of their money by a foreign business.

    Received via email:

"Re your warning regarding Gammis clothing.

My daughter had a very bad experience as a result of ordering from this company, she ordered around £70.00 of clothing from them in November 2016 a total of 7 items she only ever received two of them and her constant emails to them regarding the other items were just completely ignored or she was fobbed of with false tracking numbers that did not exist or other excuses.

But, worse was to come in Feb 2017 she received a telephone call from Barclaycard with regard to a suspicious transaction on her credit card that someone was attempting in India of all places, thankfully this had flagged up with Barclaycard and they had contacted her and as a result the transaction was declined and Barclaycard advised her to cancel her current card and they issued a new card to her, well done Barclaycard.

As a result of this my daughter was sent a questionnaire by Barclaycard with regard to what companies she had used the card with and after returning it to barclaycard they later informed her of their concerns about ordering from companies that are operating out of both India and China on the internet and the possible risk to her banking and credit card details should these companies store such information on insecure servers or the possibility of such information being passed on by dishonest employees to fraudsters who will use such information to clone cards, after the above Barclaycard also informed her that there had been a further 5 attempts to use her card details in order to buy expensive goods all of them having taken place in India in following few weeks after the first attempt, this has certainly been an eye opener for my daughter.

But, she was very lucky in no small part to Barclaycard initially flagging up the first attempt at using her card details, i personally have no doubt that this has been a result of the transaction she first made with Gammis but obviously we can't prove this, my advise to anyone would be to stay well clear of them.

With best regards Mr J SAWYER"

Good question. Same with me.Only my item was delivered but was of desperate quality and was nowhere near the correct size. 6 Inches under size!!!
The parcel came from China. The post label had been covered with a UK one. I won't bother returning as I have no faith in Gamiss. In fact most concerned.

When inquiring about the lateness of delivery they told me as it was a best seller they couldn't really say when but offered some piddling e-voucher. I immediately asked for a refund only to be told couldn't do that as delivery was on its way. Oh my. Just give me strength (and truth). So my advice is to steer, well clear of this outfit.

Do what I did years ago. Set up an Outlook account, then set the Yahoo account to forward all mail to your Outlook account. Far better than setting up Yahoo in Windows Mail directly, because you can then change the email address for each registration in slow time as you use each service. Lesser used services will still get their emails through to you. Eventually, you will dump the old Yahoo address but you can have it hanging around forwarding on for years. Do it now, because when Yahoo closes

So I taught this company Gamiss was well vetted in Sacramento Bee. They put awesome selection,my. First impression was wow.
I ordered 12 items and the shipment was with in 3 days. However I did not see processing time. If so processing time exists it should be normal range. I text Gamiss with my dismayed attitude toward their process. Malissa responded understanding frustration and this type was response Dell computer would give from India.

So my next move will. BE canceled AX purchas. Anyone out there was swindle by scammers need to contact bank or card company. The more inquiry cards company make about this scammers they will pull their bank out quickly. I think this business runs from outhouse, they probably hacked some catalogs. There is no such person Malissa exits, any positive comments about swindlers are people among them.

I order frequently from other Chinese sites (mainly DHGate) and the most frequent problem is in sizing. That's why I do a lot of research, measure my existing clothing items in metric and imperial, just to make sure I get the correct fit. Sometimes the items still don't fit right, and that's the risk I am willing to accept.

With Gamiss, however, it's an altogether different story. I bought a hoodie which the description stated was made of "cotton blends". It was in fact made of a horrible synthetic fabric that makes your hairs rise and can combust near open flames. The actual label on the hoodie said "100% cotton, fabrique en France". Right...

Gamiss refunded the cost of the item but not the shipping charges. What really rubbed me the wrong way, was the fact that they deleted my 1-star review (it could not be displayed "due to technical issues"). The item's description wasn't updated either. This means that other customers are still being misled into buying this trash.

Absolutely appalling service. I ordered the item in February. When I queried they said the item was on its way and did nothing to help. I'll be sure to never use the website again as apparently all they're good at is taking money and not providing the product.

Despite multiple complaints and 7 months of chasing up, my item did not arrive. I was told multiple times to check my post office and address like this was my error. I was told I would have it redelivered and then suddenly heard nothing back. I did not receive a refund for the item which did not arrive.

Call your bank & let them know. They will get your money & also investigate the situation. Which is probably a great idea after reading all these reviews. If you didn't receive your merchandise, your bank will definitely take care of it. I mean if you even want to mess with it. Just saying ☺️

I ordered 5 fidget spinners from GAMISS on May 30th, 2017. I received two of them on 6/15/17 but not the other three. I was told that they were temporarily out of stock and would be shipped the next week. Then I was told that they were shipped 6/19/17. It is now 7/25/17 and I still haven't received the spinners or any updates and it is next to impossible to contact the company and get any information about my order from them.
