Beware of www.eloquentwatches.com (Eloquent Watches) - it is an Untrustworthy Watch Selling Website

The website www.eloquentwatches.com (Eloquent Watches) is an untrustworthy eCommerce store claiming to sell or giving away free luxury watches. Online users are advised to stay away from the untrustworthy website, and those who have shopped from it, run the risk of receiving counterfeit goods, poor quality goods that look nothing like what were advertised, or nothing at all. Therefore, we do not recommend purchasing from the Eloquent Watches.

I ordered a watch about two months ago and finally received it yesterday. I opened the package and unwrapped the watch and the back of the watch came off! Inside was very cheap plastic. The watch was a piece of junk. At least I only lost $10.00. Could have been much worse. Avoid this internet scam.

I ordered two watches at the same time.
The first was a smart watch which in fairness arrived within two weeks, however, it was obviously a cheap watch and not really worth the money I paid for it. The second was a men's Chrono but I have never received this watch. My order for both was placed last May. I contacted their support email in June and here is the reply -

"I can see your order on our system. - sadly pinpointing an exact date for delivery is impossible with international postage, since customs and other variables dictate the delivery time. If the item doesn't arrive within 53 days (since we have a 24-72 hour dispatch time frame) - we would offer a full refund. We're a LTD UK company, so you're protected by consumer law, if nothing arrives, we have to refund you legally, so don't worry!"

So since then I have waited over 53 days and have tried to contact them again a number of times asking for a full refund of my "postage" but I have had no reply. Probably will not see this refund or the watch. BEWARE if you see this scam do not be taken in by it.

I ordered my watch in May and haven't received a thing. My frequent enquiries are now being ignored.

It took over 40 days to get here. As with other purchasers, buttons and dials are for show only, don't do anything and it's meant to be worth £200 but probably not even worth the postage I paid. Hey ho live and learn.

The watches are rubbish. They have dials and buttons that have no function.
As others have said "there is no such thing as a free lunch".

Took the back off and there is minuscule quartz mechanism driving the hands.
There is more air than parts inside.

It is not even worth the shipping cost.

    A lesson in life!
You do not get anything worthwhile if advertised as FREE!
If you do buy one of these "FREE WATCHES" do so with PayPal, as you are covered in case of fraud.
Better still, stay away from these FREE WATCH sites!

Just received my watch. It's a cheap piece of crap. The buttons are for show. Cheap scratchy and sharp alloy case. With cheap strap. I paid £9.99. I'd recommend you don't buy one if you haven't already.

I just received one of two watches I ordered , there was a mix up with my first order so they sent me a second watch free of charge and it's easy to see why .

First of all the watches come from China Not England like we are led to believe in their advertising. It arrived in a polythene envelope with no protective packaging and it is utter CRAP The one I received today is the Mens Coloured Prince.

I promise you the camera does lie. It is a cheap $2 watch the sort of thing you can pick up in your local discount store for a couple of bucks the strap is plastic rubbish and it tore while I tried to put it on.

Thank I only paid £10 but that £10 along with all the other people who have been fooled into think they were buying quality merchandise adds up.

Typical slap heads all they think about is the mighty dollar . Don't be fooled folks Eloquent watches are pure shite! If I am able to post a picture I will but so far cant see how to.

I ordered a watch that was supposed to sell for over £300. It was on offer for £29. When it arrived, it was rubbish. Stop watch buttons were only pretend, they didn't do anything, tachymeter was pretend, it didn't do anything. Whole thing rubbish.
Two free watches I ordered at the same time have not arrived.

I'm beginning to think this is a scam; ordered mine 12 days ago and its status is in China at some post office for 11 days. Very strange.
