The PC Protect software, which was allegedly created by thelaptopfixers.com does not allow visitors to download and try their software. Therefore, there is no way to find out what you are getting or if you are getting something until you have purchased the so-called anti-virus software. But, by then, the untrustworthy people who maybe cyber criminals or scammers would have already stolen your credit card and personal information, and may have infected your computer or mobile device with a virus, spyware or other malware.

All legitimate antivirus software makers allow potential users to try their software by allowing them to see what they are getting before purchasing. And, it is not recommended to buy antivirus software that is not well-known because cyber criminals can create a fake and fraudulent website and claim they are selling their own antivirus software and lure their potential victims to it. Once visitors to the fake and fraudulent website attempt to purchase the fake antivirus software on the website, they would have unknowingly sent their credit card and personal information to the cybercriminals operating the fake website. The cyber criminals would then use the stolen information fraudulently.

The same visitors may also infect their computers or mobile devices with a virus, ransomware, spyware or other malware when they purchase and download fake antivirus software that steals sensitive information and sends it to cyber criminals, destroy sensitive information on the infected computers, or lock or encrypt files and demand a ransom to unlock or decrypt them.
