Seek Verify at seekverify.com - the Fraudulent Website

seekverify.com - Seek verify

Seek Verify does two things:

  1. it tricks visitors into registering and illegally charge their credit cards
  2. it collects telephone numbers, email addresses, first and last names, and street address when visitors or members attempt to search their so-called database

Since we do not know who is operating seekverify.com, all that information that is collected can be used to contact potential victims in an attempt to scam them. Therefore, online users are advised not to register with the website or use it. And, those who have used their credit cards on it are asked to check their credit card statements for unauthorized transactions and report them their banks so they can be canceled and their money refunded.

I have been charged $39.95 for 3 months on an account that was cancelled. The gentleman was very rude when I spoke to him I ask to speak to a supervisor and he refused to give me a supervisor.

I used it one time to lookup a number that had been harassing me and I cancelled it the same day so that I made sure I would not get charged. $120 later roughly and they're arguing with me.

I received 2 emails from them late last night. The 1st one was a Welcome message and the 2nd was a membership confirmation. I did not go to their website, much less, sign up. I have never even heard of them. I am very concerned that they somehow got a hold of my credit card info and will start billing me.

I replied to one of their emails stating I had no knowledge of the transaction and to suspend any membership while I contact my bank regarding fraudulent activity. Has anyone else received membership confirmation emails when they didn't sign up?

I to was scammed by this company. They are a total loss of respect for their customer as far a billing and refund. I would not recommend them to a single person; their $1.00 charge is out and fake and scam more charges will be added and do refund will ever happen. Sorry to say scammed.

I was SCAMMED by authorizing $1.05 to my credit card for a phone number verification. Within less than 24 hours, my credit card was charged $75.00 in 3 different charges with a phone number shown. When I tried to resolve it as fraudulent, I was told it is non-refundable; however, they were cancelling my membership, which I had not authorized. They also said that I would get an email of the Cancellation, which I didn't.
