Beware of "Karthik Reddy" at webmastersjury.net

Please delete spam emails like the one below from a Karthik Reddy at webmastersjury.net, who claims he stumbled upon your info while browsing online. Karthik Reddy has another fraudulent website called webmastersjury.com which he claimed he got the recipients' information via LinkedIn. But, Linked does not share your email address with other members. The primary email address you've registered with LinkedIn is only visible on your profile to your direct connections on LinkedIn. It will also be visible to people who are your email contacts or vice versa. But, Karthik Reddy is not an email contact of mine and doesn't have a direct connection with me on LinkedIn, so how was he able to get my email address and name? Simply, he is a scammer who has gotten people's email addresses and names illegally and is attempting to scam them by tricking me into visiting his bogus website.

Please continue below.

Also, I am unable to unsubscribe or opt-out of the spam emails. So, every week or so I would get a message from this so-called Karthik Reddy asking me to contact him.

Subject: Re: Found you on Linkedin

I recently came across your information on Linkedin and from what I gathered I thought you may take some interest in a project that my team and myself are working on currently!

The project we are launching is an infographic that highlights 23 of the most interesting and funny customer support stories ever. It includes stories about major companies like Target, Zappos, Lego, McDonald’s, Southwest Airlines and many more. Does this sound like something you may find useful?
