Online Threat Alerts (OTA)

The "DPD Sorry We Missed You" text below is a scam. The fake text is being sent by online scammers from telephone numbers 07498505365 and 07375205879. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in it goes to this phishing website: dpd.choose-time .net. The phishing website will ask them to pay £1.99 in order to receive their so-called package. But, if they enter their personal and financial information it will be sent to scammers, who will use it fraudulently.

"DPD: Sorry we missed you, your parcel is now with your local courier please book your delivery for another day via: http://mydpd.redelivery1.com/."
It came from number: 44 7745 525602 at 02:27 am (!)
So annoying!

I also received a text saying DPD: Sorry we missed you. To book your redelivery visit: https://dpd.missed5b9q.com/redelivery. It came from 44 7484 665601.
Luckily we have a Ring doorbell so I was able to look through movements at the front door and found no record of an attempted delivery so then searched Google and found this very helpful article. Thank you for the clarity
