There is a hoax, spreading on social networking websites and the rest of the internet that claims a Smartphone battery can be fully recharged if the Smartphone is microwaved for one minute. But, will microwaving a Smartphone recharge the battery? Absolutely NOT.

Microwaving your Smartphone will not charge the battery, but will only destroy the phone, battery, and possibly your Microwave oven. The damaged microwave may then start a fire, which may destroy your home.
The Hoax: Microwaving a Smartphone Can Charge the Battery
A smart phone microwaved for just one will fully charge the battery.
In 2005 Apple started a smear campaign to discourage customers from using this method to charge phones as it would affect charger sales.
Scientific studies hsows that charging a phone this way is safe and is actually better for the phone's battery life as electrical current found inmains can fluctuate and damage the battery cell.
The electromagnetic radiation that the Microwave oven emits will destroy the Smartphone and the battery.
