Cybercriminals are continuously sending out different Facebook video scams. Here is another one: "Girl Killed herself live On Cam Just After Dad Seen Her While Doing This on cam!”, which will take Facebook users to a fake Facebook website, in an attempt to trick them into sharing it or completing surveys, by promising to show them a video depicted by the image in the Facebook post. But, there is no video.

Once on the website, the victim will be asked to complete surveys or share the same website before he/she can view the video. Now, sharing this web page will only help spread this scam to other Facebook users. And, completing the surveys will only generate revenue for the cybercriminals behind this scam.

The victim on the other hand, will not be able to view the video that they were promised, because it doesn't exist.

If you have shared this scam, remove the share Facebook post from your Timeline or Wall, because this will help stop the spreading of this scam.

      Ads on the website, and the surveys, generate money for the scammers.

      They get paid for each completed survey and they will sell the website along with the Facebook users' information who have shared or "liked" it,to highest bidder once it becomes popular. These websites become popular when they are shared or "liked" by thousands of Facebook users who were tricked into sharing or liking them.
