The website helpwithmybank.gov helps find answers to questions about banking and help file complaints against national banks.

The users of helpwithmybank.com are told that they are being redirected to helpwithmybank.gov but instead, are redirected to a malicious website first, in an attempt to infect their computers with a malicious program or steal their banking and/or personal information through the use of Phishing.

Please note that the legitimate website is helpwithmybank.gov and NOThelpwithmybank.com. The difference between the two is that the legitimate one ends with ".gov" and the fraudulent ends ".com".

There is virtually nothing that can be done to stop this type of scamming because anyone can register a domain name and setup a malicious webpage there.
