www.wordyp.com - Fake Chinese Ecommerce Website

The website www.wordyp.com is a fake and I do not recommend ordering anything from them. The website allows you to add items to your shopping cart and checkout, without asking for your payment information. Subsequently, an email message will be sent to your email address from them, asking you to wire transfer the payment for the order that you have made.

The Fake Chinese website www.wordyp.com

Any website that asks you to make payment via Western Union, Wire Transfer, Money Gram, should not be trusted. With these methods of payment, you will not be able to receive your money back or a refund.

The McAfeeSecure logo or SiteAdvisor on this website is a fake. McAfee doesn’t have any knowledge of this website or has never tested it before.

SiteAdvisor is a service that reports on the safety of web sites by crawling the web and testing the sites it finds for malware and spam.

The information from McAfee site advisor:

This link isn't rated. Either we don't have enough information, or we haven't tested it yet. Proceed with caution.

Website Category: N/A

The above information can be found at the link below:

Surprisely, the website uses free Hotmail email addresses to communicate with their customers. Remember, anyone can create and use an email address from a free email address provider like hotmail.com.

Also, for an ecommerce website, it doesn’t provide a secure connection for securely transferring their customer’s sensitive information, like password, from their customers’ web browser to their website.

A website that has a secure connection called SSL, starts with https://. So, this Chinese website secure connection should be https://wordyp.com. But, if you attempt to visit the same website, it will not load. This is simply because the website doesn’t have a secure connection, which is required by all legitimate ecommerce websites.

I recommend shopping on popular websites. If you want to shop on a website, please research the website by asking your friends and family about it, or search the internet for information about it, before purchasing anything from it.
