Walmart Scheduled Home Delivery Problem Virus Email

The email message below: "Scheduled Home Delivery Problem", has a malicious computer program attached that will infect your Windows computer if you open it. The message was not sent by any Facebook, tries to trick the recipients into opening the malicious attachment by claiming that their Wal-mart order has failed because the address was not specified correctly.

Subject:  Scheduled Home Delivery Problem

Attachment: walmartform_denver.exe

Sir/Madam,

Your order WM-007468202 delivery has failed because the address was not specified  correctly. You are advised to fill this form and send it back to us.

If your reply is not received within one week, you will be paid your money back but 17% will be deducted since you order was booked for Christmas holidays.

This malicious email message has an attachment called walmartform_denver.zip, which contains the malicious Trojan horse file walmartform_denver.exe. Attempts to open the walmartform_denver.exe  file will infect your computer with a Trojan horse.

When we scanned the file walmartform_denver.exe, the following threats were detected:

Once your computer has become infected with this malicious Trojan horse, the cybercriminals behind this email message will be able to access and take control of your computer remotely from anywhere around the world. They may spy on you, use your computer to commit cybercrimes, or steal your personal and financial information.

Now, if you have already opened this malicious attachment ( walmartform_denver.exe), please do a full scan of your computer with the antivirus software installed on it. The name of the attachment may change, so be careful when opening email attachments.
