Hackers Have Stolen Usernames and Passwords for Two Million Accounts
According to Trustwave, approximately two millions usernames and passwords for users of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, LinkedIn, ADP and other online websites, have been stolen by hackers. Trustwave, a cyber security company said that the usernames and passwords were stolen by a malicious key logging software installed on the victims' computers.

- 318,000 - Facebook accounts
- 70,000 - Google accounts
- 60,000 - Yahoo accounts
- 22,000 - Twitter accounts
- 9,000 - Odnoklassniki accounts
- 8,000 - ADP
- 8,000 - LinkedIn accounts
This key logging software records your computer key strokes and the website that you are currently on. It then sends the recorded information to a server on the internet located in the Netherlands, where the cybercriminals behind this program is able to collect it.
Trustwaves believes this malicious key logging software has been collecting information for the past 2 months.
We recommend that you change the passwords for all your online accounts immediately and ensure that you have an updated antivirus installed on your computer.
