Facebook Hoax - "Bill Gates Will Give You $5000 to Share Link"

Here is another hoax already shared by thousands on Facebook, who believe they will be paid $5,000. The hoax claims that Bill Gates, one of the richest men in world, will give you $5,000 if you share it. With Facebook over 1 billion active users, not even the richest man in the world would be able to pay everyone $5,000, if they were to share the fake Facebook post.

“Hey Facebook, As some of you may know, I’m Bill Gates. If you click that share link, I will give you $5,000. It's about time I give back to the people!”

The images of the hoax above were altered. The information on the piece of paper that Bill Gates is holding was removed and replace with the hoax text that is mentioned above.

The original image has the text "Hi Reddit! this is bill gates", the Reddit logo and a cartoon image of Bill Gates.
