Bogus Verizon Phishing Website - MyVZ450.com
The website: 'MyVZ450.com,' is a phishing Verizon Wireless website, created by cybercriminals to steal their potential victims' Verizon user names and passwords. Verizon Wireless customers are receiving automated phone recording messages stating that they should go to a fake website to get a discount on their next bill. But, any attempts to sign-in with their username and password on the fake website will result in their Verizon account credentials and personal information being sent to cybercriminals.
With their potential victims' account credentials, cybercriminals will gain access to their accounts and may deactivate their devices, add their own and rack up international calls and internet usage. Therefore, Verizon customers who were tricked into visiting the fake website (MyVZ450.com) and who have attempted to sign into it, are asked to change their passwords immediately and contact Verizon.
How To Change My Verizon Password?
You can change your password online:
- Go to the Change Password page in My Verizon.
- Fill out the required information.
- Click Submit.
If you are unable to change your password, please contact Verizon by telephone at 1-800-VERIZON.
Scammers are creating more bogus websites and phone recordings to lure persons into their traps.
