Brazilian Ecommerce Website www.lojagame.com .br

The Brazilian ecommerce website www.lojagame.com .br (Lojagame) is very suspicious. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this website because you may risk your credit card and personal information being stolen. What makes this website suspicious is that it does not provide a secure connection from your computer to their website when you are making a purchase with your credit card. Every website that collects credit card information and other sensitive information should use a secure channel called a SSL connection.

The website www.lojagame.com.br

The website accepts credit card information, but the connection between the user's computer and their website is not secure. A website that uses a secure connection, web address starts with https://, instead of http://.

Credit card information entered on the check-out page above will be sent to the following unsecured page:
http://www.lojagame.com .br/checkout.php?action= process_payment.

Every ecommerce website should have what we call a SSL connection, which secures your credit card and other sensitive information by encrypting it before it is sent from your computer and then decrypting it on the server or website.

When I tried connecting securely to their website, using the secure connection address: https://www.lojagame.com .br, I got a SSL connection error. This means that website does not have or accept a secure connection.

Although this website is not secure, it claims that you are in a secure environment. But, do not be fooled.

Again, I do not recommend purchasing anything from this website. If you have already made a purchase on this website with your credit card, you may want to contact your bank.
