Virus MMS Email Messages August 7 2013

If you receive a MMS email message with an attachment that has one of the names below, please do not open the attachment and delete the email message. The attachment is a malicious computer program called Trojan horse that will infect your computer if you open it. With this malicious program running on your computer, cybercriminals will be able to spy on you, steal your your information or remotely use your computer to commit cybercrimes.

Malicious MMS Email Attachment Names:

A MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service ) email message is an email sent from a mobile phone with multimedia content like photos, audios or documents.

The following malicious programs were detected in the email message attachments:

Please ensure that you have antivirus software installed on your computer and do not open the attachment if one is already installed on it.

If you have unintentionally opened this malicious email attachment, please user your antivirus software to do a full scan of your computer.
