Customer Account Correspondence - Lloyds Bank Commercial Ltd Virus Email

The email message: "Customer Account Correspondence," is a fake and was not sent by Lloyds Bank Commercial Ltd. The email message contains a malicious attachment that will infect your computer with a virus or Trojan horse if you open it. The email message attempts to trick the recipients into believing that they have received a correspondence relating to their Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance Ltd account, and they can open the attachment to view it.

This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.

If you have received this email in error please contact the individual or customer care team whose details appear on the statement.

This email message and its attachment has been swept for the presence of computer viruses.

This malicious email message has an attachment called "I_BANBURYCUSTOMERCARETEAM2 @LTSBCF.CO.UK.zip", which contains the malicious Trojan horse file “I_BANBURYCUSTOMERCARETEAM2 @LTSBCF.CO.UK.exe”. Attempts to open this file will infect your computer with a Trojan horse or virus.

When we scanned the file "I_BANBURYCUSTOMERCARETEAM2 @LTSBCF.CO.UK.exe", the following threats were detected:
