Email Scam - "Ongoing Breast Cancer Awareness Donation Program"
The email message below with the subject: "Ongoing Breast Cancer Awareness Donation Program," is a fake and phishing scam. You should not respond to the message with your personal information. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it is so sad that scammers or cyber-criminals are taking advantage of this annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal information and/or sending money. Therefore, never send your personal information to anyone in an email message or send money to someone who contacted you via email message.
