You will then be taken to a fake ANZ sign-in or login page, and if your ANZ account details, financial details, or login details on the same website, it will be sent to the cyber-criminals behind this phishing scam. Who will use it to hijack your ANZ account and use it for malicious purposes.
If you were tricked into clicking the link in the fake email message and have entered your phone number, and username and password for your The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) account on the fake website that you were taken to, please change your ANZ password immediately.
If you are unable to change your ANZ password, please contact them.
