The “Tom Cruise Died When His Private Plane Crashes in Soldotna Alaska” Hoax

This hoax is located at the following malicious website:
http://keygen-maker. blogspot.com/ 2013_12_01_archive.html

The hoax has a fake CNN page with the title or heading: "Actor Tom Cruise Died When His Private Plane Crashes in Soldotna Alaska - CNN".

The fake page then claims that the visitor must click the "PLAY" button, Share on Facebook and click the "Play" button again in order to view the video.

But, there is no video and Tom Cruise is alive, so do not click the Facebook “Share” button. This is how cybercriminals trick Facebook users into sharing a website, making the website popular, so that they can earn money from it by selling it to the highest bidder.

So, if you were tricked into sharing this scam, please remove all posts of this scam from your Facebook Timeline or Wall.

Just two days ago, scammers tricked persons into sharing a website, by claiming that Vin Diesel has died.

This celebrity death hoax is similar to the Celine Dion, Will Smith,Shaggy, Rapper Eminem, Jackie Chan, Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie hoaxes.
