The email message below: "Dept of Labor Wage Notice ", has a virus or Trojan horse attached to it that will infect your Windows computer if you open it. The message was designed to trick the recipients into opening the malicious attachment, disguised as The State Department of Labor wage notice.

(PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY)The State Department of Labor now requires that Wage Notices be provided to all employees each year, on or before March 1st. These notices must be provided to employees in their designated primary language if a template is available. This notice is being provided in English. If you have previously designated your primary language to be other than English and a template is available in that language, a notice in that language is also being provided.
Attached you will find your wage notice for 2014.to comply with State regulations, we must get acknowledgment that you have received this notice.
Your assistance and cooperation is needed in order for us to be in full compliance with this new regulation.

The attachment Wage_Notification.zip, contains the malicious file Wage_Notification.pdf.exe.
The malicious file contains the follow threats when we scanned it for virus:
- Win32:Malware-gen
- PE:Malware.XPACK/RDM!5.1
- Mal/Generic-S
- TROJ_GEN.F0D1H00BL14
This email message was not sent by The State Department of Labor, but by cybercriminals, whose aim is to trick the curious recipients into opening the malicious attachment that will infect their computers with a virus or Trojan horse.
Once your computer has become infected with this malicious Trojan horse, the cybercriminals behind this email message will be able to access and take control of your computer remotely from anywhere around the world. They may spy on you, use your computer to commit cybercrimes, or steal your personal and financial information.
Now, if you have already opened anyone of these malicious attachments, please do a full scan of your computer with the antivirus software installed on it. The name of the attachment may change, so be careful when opening email attachments.
