The email message: "ANZ Secure Alert", is a phishing scam and was not sent by the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). Do not click on the link, button or follow the instructions in this email message, if you have received it. This is because it was designed to steal your ANZ.com user name and password.

This email message claims that the recipients need to enter their ANZ Internet Banking logon information in order to upgrade to the new system for maximum protection.

ANZ.com or other banks will never send an email message asking their customers to click on a link or button, and enter their Internet Banking logon information or user name and password.

If you were tricked into entering your ANZ user name and password on some of fake ANZ website by this phishing scam, please change your password and contact ANZ as soon as possible.
