'Sylvester Stallone is Dead - He Died From Heart Attack at Gym'

The hoax below: "[CNN NEWS Sylvester Stallone is Dead - He died from heart attack after going to the gym," which claims that Sylvester Stallone, an American actor and director, has died from a heart attack at a gym, is another reason why you should always use popular and reputable news websites as your source of information.

Sylvester Stallone, best known for portraying boxer Rocky Balboa and soldier John Rambo, is NOT DEAD.

Whenever something dramatic or depressing like the death of someone is posted on social networking or satire news websites please verify it with a reputable news website before posting, sharing, commenting on or liking it.

The Hoax: Sylvester Stallone is Dead

[CNN NEWS Sylvester Stallone is Dead - He died from heart attack after going to the gym!

The hoax promises to show Facebook users a CCTV footage of Sylvester Stallone suffering from a heart attack at the gym. But, there is no video on the fake website that you will be taken to, if you click on the hoax.

Clicking on the hoax (DO NOT) will only take you to the fake Facebook website. The website name may change, so look out for the same scam on different websites.

And, clicking the image, which appears as a video, on the fake Facebook web page will ask you to share.

Clicking the shared dialog box above will only ask you to like, share the same page or complete surveys in order to watch the video. But, it is the fake Facebook web page that the scammers want you to "like" or share, which will make it popular. Once the page is popular, these scammers can sell it to online marketers or other scammers. They will also make money from the surveys that are completed by gullible Facebook users who were tricked into completing them.

Now, if you have shared and "liked" this fake Facebook post, please remove all shared Facebook posts and "unlike" it.

If you are asked to share, "like”, complete surveys in order to view a video, picture or other content, is the first sign that you are being tricked or scammed. You do not need to do any of these things in order to view any content on Facebook and the rest of the internet.
