Fake and Virus Email - "Undefined Transactions (Need Assistance) Ref -1404992VQ"
Cyber-criminals are sending out different versions of the email message below with the subject: "Undefined Transactions (Need Assistance) Ref:1404992VQ." The fake email messages were sent by cyber-criminals and NOT by the name of the companies listed in them. The email messages have a malicious Microsoft Word document attached that will attempt to download viruses, Trojan horses or other malware onto your computer, if you attempt to open it.

Good morning
I have recently found several payments on statement with the incorrect reference. Amounts appear to be from your company, could you please confirm these payments are yours and were made from your company's bank account. If no then please reply me as soon as possible. Thanks.

The malicious attached Microsoft Word document has a set of instructions called a Macro that will attempt to dowload viruses, Trojan horses and other malware from the following dangerous websites or internet addresses:
- http://189.79.63 .16:8080/koh/mui.php
- http://203.155 .18.87:8080/koh/mui.php
The cybercriminals behind the malicious email message aim is to trick the curious recipients into clicking on the link in the message, which will infect their computers with a virus or Trojan horse.
Once your computer has become infected with this malicious Trojan horse, the cybercriminals behind this email message will be able to access and take control of your computer remotely from anywhere around the world. They may spy on you, use your computer to commit cyber-crimes, or steal your personal and financial information.
Now, if you have already opened clicked on the link, downloaded and open the malicious file, please do a full scan of your computer with the antivirus software installed on it.
