Phishing Scam - "Account Verification to Reset your Hotmail Account Password"

The email message below: "Account Verification," is phishing scam sent by cyber-criminals to steal the recipients' Microsoft Hotmail, Outlook, MSN, or Live user name and password. So, do not click on the links or follow the instructions in the email message. Remember, the fake email message was NOT sent by Microsoft or Outlook, and if you were tricked into entering your user name and password on the fake Outlook/MSN/Hotmail/Live web page, please change your password immediately.

The link in the email message will take you to a fake Microsoft Outlook website looking exactly like the legitimate Outlook web page. Once the recipients enter their user names and passwords on the fake website, it will be sent to the cyber-criminals behind it, who will use the information to hijack the accounts. Remember never to click on a link within an email message to sign into your Outlook account. Always go directly to www.outlook.com, www.hotmail.com or www.live.com and sign into your account instead.
