Facebook Scam - "Netflix Offers One Free Year Of Netflix on Halloween"

The Facebook post and website below: "Netflix Offers One Free Year Of Netflix on Halloween (offer valid till 07-Nov-2015)," is a Facebook like-farming scam. This scam will attempt to trick Facebook users into clicking on it by claiming that they can receive one free year of Netflix at the website: "greatfun.xyz". But, the fake and fraudulent website has nothing to do with Netflix, and is only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like" or share the same deceptive website or fake post with their Facebook friends.

If you receive a post on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, please report it as spam or delete it. The scammers behind the post may change the website name, so look out for similar scam on different websites.

Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into liking and sharing a Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it.

Also, they may ask you to complete surveys in order to receive your gift card. But, it doesn't matter how much surveys you complete, you will never receive any Netflix gift cards or free service. The scammers, on the other hand, will get paid for each competed survey.
