The Facebook post: "Get a $200 Macy's Gift Card," is a Facebook like-farming scam. This scam will try to trick Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest users into clicking on it by claiming that they can receive a free $200 Macy's Gift Card at the website: "www.themagic.xyz". But, the fake and fraudulent website("www.themagic.xyz") has nothing to do with Macy's, and is only a scam to get Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest users to share the same deceptive website or fake post with their friends.

Now, sharing the scam above, will only help to spread it to other social networking users and making the scammers responsible for it, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.
I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into liking and sharing a Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it. Also, they may ask you to complete surveys in order to receive your gift card. But, it doesn't matter how much surveys you complete, you will never receive any Walmart gift cards. The scammers, on the other hand, will get paid for each competed survey.
