"We Received Reports that You're Making Copyright Violations on your Facebook Page"
The fake and malicious Facebook post or message below, which claims that the Facebook Support Team has received reports that the recipients' Facebook pages have violated Facebook copyright policies and they need to click on a link within the message if they think it is a mistake, is a scam. The scam was sent by cyber-criminals and not by the Facebook Support Team, to steal recipients' Facebook user name, password and personal information.
If you have received a copy of the fake message(see below) on your Facebook Timeline, Wall, NewsFeed or in a private message, please report it as spam or delete it. Do not click on the link in the message.

We received reports that you're making copyright violations on your Facebook page. Please review your posts and become more careful about your posts.
If you think this is a mistake, please verify your page on the link below. This would indicate that your page does not have a violation in terms of use. We will immediately review your page appeal.

If the link is clicked in the message, the potential victims will be taken to a fake Facebook app (see image below) that will ask them for their Facebook username, password and personal information.
The Fake Facebook Page Verification App
If the requested information is entered or submitted, it will be sent to the scammers behind the fake Facebook post or message.
With access to their victims' accounts, these cybercriminals will lock them out of their Facebook accounts by changing their Facebook email address and password. Once they have done this, they will use the hijacked accounts to send the same scam to the victims' friends.
Once the victims' accounts are taken over by these scammers and used for malicious purposes, Facebook may disable their accounts.
If you were tricked into clicking on any of these links and asked to enter your Facebook user name and password, please try changing your Facebook password immediately.
