Lottery Scam - "We are Glad to Inform you that you Have Won the Sum of £1,000,000 GBP"

The email message below: "We are glad to inform you that you have won the sum of £1,000,000GBP" is a lottery scam and was designed to trick the recipients into sending their personal information and money, by claiming that they were electronically selected as a winner in this year's annual draw via directories with Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. But, the email message was not sent by any of the three companies and there is no Google, Hotmail or Yahoo lottery.

Also, those companies will never ask you to send your personal information via email message.

This type of lottery scam will ask you to send your personal information and subsequently ask you to send money in order to receive your prize. But, please do not respond to the email message or follow the instructions in it.

Google, Hotmail, Outlook or Yahoo is not taking part in or endorsing any lottery games, so if you receive an email claiming that you have won some lottery prize endorsed by Google, it is a scam.
