Delta Airlines Facebook Scam - "Trip of a Lifetime to a Location of Your Choice"

The Facebook post and page below, which state: "We want to award our fans with a trip of a lifetime to a Location of your choice," are a scam. Thousands of Facebook users are being tricked into "liking", sharing or commenting on the fake Delta Airlines Facebook page hosting the post, which claims that Delta is giving away free tickets. Facebook users are advised not to follow the instructions in the post or on the fake Facebook webpage.

Facebook users who have received the fake post below on their Facebook Wall or Timeline, are ask to report it as spam or delete it. And, are ask to always check with the legitimate Delta Airlines Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/delta to verify the authenticity of a promotion.

By liking,commenting on and sharing the scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for this, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into liking and sharing a Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked or shared this scam, please unlike and unshare it.
