Email Scam - "You Contacted Us Last Year Because You Needed a Couple Hundred Dollars"
The email message below with the subject: "yvonne ruhland from cv," in which the sender claims that the recipients are entitled to $800, is fraudulent and you should not respond to it with your personal information. The email message is a fake and was sent by scammers. Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal and financial information, and sending money.
Remember, never send your personal information to anyone in an email message or send money to someone who contacted you via email message.
