Carnival Cruise Line Facebook $1,000 Voucher and 4 Tickets Giveaway Scams

The Facebook posts below: "within the next 24 hours we are giving 225 random people the chance to win 4 tickets each" and "if you see this post then you've got the chance to win a Carnival cruise along with vouchers worth $1,000," are fraudulent and are Facebook like-farming scams. The scams will attempt to trick Facebook users, by claiming that they can get a chance to win free Carnival cruises and voucher worth $1000. But, the fake Facebook posts have nothing to do with Carnival Cruise Line, and is only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like" or share the same deceptive posts with their friends. The victims of the scam may also be asked to complete surveys.

By liking,commenting on and sharing this scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for this, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into commenting on, liking and sharing a fake Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it.

Also, they may ask you to complete surveys in order to receive your coupon. But, it doesn't matter how much surveys you complete, you will never receive any coupons. The scammers, on the other hand, will get paid for each competed survey.
