Fake NDIS Shelby's Plan Email with Virus Attached
Cyber-criminals are sending out fake and malicious email messages, which claim the recipients have received a secure file containing a copy of Shelby's plan, from someone at the Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). But, any attempts to open the fake and malicious attached file will infect the victims' computers with a Trojan horse, which is used by cyber-criminals to remotely access and control their victims' computers. With the access to their victims' computers, the cyber-criminals can steal their personal information, financial information, or remotely use the victims' computers to commit other cyber-crimes, which will be traced back to the victims, who may get arrested for something they know nothing about.
