"Attached is Your Credit Note" - Malicious Emails sent by Cyber-criminals
If you have received email messages like the ones below, which claim that a credit note is attached, please delete them. This is because the emails are fakes, sent by cyber-criminals with a virus or a Trojan horse attached to them. Any attempts to open the malicious attachments, will infect your computer with a virus or Trojan horse, which will create a back-door on your computer that will allow cyber-criminals to come in and steal your personal and financial. They may also use it to take control of your computer, which they will use for other fraudulent purposes.
Please note, the fake and malicious emails were not sent by by the name of the companies in the emails and their systems were not hacked.
