So, recipients of the fake email or text message, which claims they are winners of cash prizes, should delete it and not follow the instructions in it. The fake email or text message was sent by scammers and NOT by the name of the company listed in it. Every month, thousands of these email or text messages are sent out by scammers to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal information, financial information and money.
Remember, never send your personal information to anyone in an email or text message or send money to someone who contacted you via email message. And, legitimate companies will never ask their users, customers, or winners to send their personal information, credit card information, or financial information via email messages, or send money via Prepaid Debit Cards, Western Union, MoneyGram, or other money transfer services.
