HM Revenue and Custom Phishing Email - "It's Not Too Late - Tax Repayment"
"It's not too late - Tax Repayment," is the subject of the fraudulent email message below that is being sent by cybercriminals to their potential victims, to trick them into visiting a phishing website that will steal their personal information, email account credentials, credit card information and other sensitive information.
Recipients who have received the fraudulent email message (see below), are asked to delete to it and not follow the instructions in it. The link in the email message goes to the fake HM Revenue and Custom website “hmrc-govenment.co.uk,” that asks visitors to submit their sensitive information. Once the information is submitted, it will be sent to cybercriminals, who will use the stolen information to rip-off their victims.

You shоuld wait 5 weeks after making an оnline claim and 6 weeks after making a postal claim befоre cоntacting HMRC about the payment.
Recipients of the fraudulent HM Revenue and Customs email message who were tricked in visiting the fraudulent website and submitting their information, are asked to contact their banks for help before their credit cards are used fraudulently. They should also change their email account passswords before their email accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.
