Virus Email - SureVoIP "Voicemail from 07730881627"

The email message below, which appears as if it came from SureVoIP, claiming the recipients has a voicemail attached, is a fake, and the attachment contains a virus, Trojan horse or some other malware. The fake email message, which was sent by cyber-criminals, contains a malicious attachment that will infect the recipients’ computers if they attempt to open it, therefore, recipients of the malicious email message should delete it.

And, although the email message appear as if came from SureVoIP (@surevoip.com), it was not. Cyber-criminals are sending out malicious email messages and are spoofing the “From” address of the same email messages to make them appear as if they came from a legitimate company. This email spoofing technique has been used by cyber-criminals for years, to trick recipients into opening their fake and malicious email attachments or clicking on links that go to phishing or malicious websites.
