International travelers who want to travel to the United States of America under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are asked to be aware of fraudulent websites that claim they are US government affiliates that can help them apply for ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). ESTA is an electronic travel authorization method introduced by US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that is used by people who want to travel to the US under the Visa Waiver Program.in other words, ESTA is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
