There are fraudulent Facebook posts claiming that Hy-Vee, an employee-owned chain of 240 supermarkets located throughout the Midwestern United States, is giving away free grocery coupons worth $150 to everybody to celebrate their birthday. The posts are fakes and are not associated with Hy-Vee. The websites that the fake posts will take you to are fraudulent. Hy-Vee is not giving away free coupons worth $150 to everyone to celebrate their birthday. Remember, the fake posts and websites are only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like" or share the same Facebook posts and websites.
If you have received posts on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, please report them to Facebook or delete them. And, do not visit the fraudulent website: "hy-vee-comg183801x.cdkfo.xyz," which is one of the many fraudulent websites created by scammers that the fraudulent posts will take potential victims to. The scammers behind the give-away scams will change the name of the website or use a different company or organization, so look out for the same scam on different websites with names of other companies.

The scammers will also send Facebook users who have shared, commented on, or "liked" the scams fake messages to trick them into stealing their money or personal/financial information (phishing scam), and links to malicious websites that willl infect their computers with viruses, spyware or other malware.
