Fake The Case Foundation Awards and Lottery Messages

Scammers are sending out fake "The Case Foundation" messages like the ones below, in an attempt to trick potential victims into believing they are winners of thousands of dollars, or have received some form of award. The aim of the scammers behind the fake messages is to trick the potential victims into sending them their personal information, and money that the scammers claim are for taxes or fees the potential victims must pay in order to receive their awards or prizes. The Case Foundation is currently aware of the fake messages and is actively working with LinkIn, where most of the messages are being distributed, to resolve the issue.

Also, The Case Foundation is currently not promoting any contest or awarding prizes, therefore recipients of messages claiming otherwise should be deleted, and the instructions in them should never be followed.
