Do Not Call 1-844-576-0826 - It is a Fake Microsoft Certified Technical Support Agent Number
Scammers are sending out fake technical support email messages like the one below, instructing the recipients to call 1-844-576-0826 in order to stop a virus. But, recipients of the fake email message should delete it and should not follow the instructions in it, or call the telephone number: 18445760826. Scammers have been tricking online users into calling bogus technical support numbers for years, by falsely claiming that their computers are infected with a virus. Once the scammers have gotten access to their potential victims’ computers, they will steal their personal and financial information, which they will use to rip them off. Scammers may also install malicious software like viruses, spyware and malware on the victims’ computers, which will give them full access to the infected computers
Scammers may even use the infected computers to commit other cybercrimes, which will be traced back to the victims, who could get arrested for something they know nothing about.
